Jimmy's Family Steak House – Authentic Greek-Steak Dining in Columbia, MO

Mr. Jimmy, Ms. Tina and Mr. Gus were nothing short of amazing. We had a party of 7 to celebrate a birthday. I am from Indiana and would eat here everyday if I could. Everyone at the table ordered something different and not one of us had anything bad. The food was delicious and the service left me with a smile and longing to come back.

Amazing experience. The owners are fabulous, kind people who took the time to come out and talk to my family a couple times during our meal. The steaks were to die for, and so was the souvlaki and burger. The owner talked with us about Berkshire pigs, Greek politics, Missouri life, and general friendliness. Couldn’t ask for more and will definitely take my parents here every time they come to town.

Tina was amazing! Very friendly lady! Food was awesome! I had the gyro with fries and my boyfriend had the 20 piece shrimp with fries! Best fried shrimp we’ve ever had! If you’re in Columbia I definitely recommend it! Very affordable our total was 26.97. We will definitely be coming back!

Family owned spot. I visited in the early afternoon so there were only a few other customers. The tv was on. The customers were chatting with the hostess/server and a gentleman I believed was the owner. I can see how this spot would fill up during rush hour. No gimmicks. Just good food with a great local vibe. I’ll definitely be back.

If you've lived in Columbia for a while you always have "your" Greek restaurant and Jimmy's is mine for over 32 years! Jimmy, Tina and Gus are always warm and friendly to all their patrons. They recognize you when you walk in the door and greet you with a warm "Hello, Friend". They literally watch my daughter go from being a baby to an adult with always a kind word to say. My daughter grew up on their spaghetti! She would eat the whole plate so by herself! I remember when I first started going to Jimmy's in the early 90s and you could still get a huge burger and fries for less than $2. A much bigger, better and cheaper burger than you could get anywhere else. Prices aren't that low anymore however it's still an excellent value for your money. The food is good. Service is fast and the cozy family atmosphere is heartwarming. Best gyro in town! And you have to taste the balklava! Tina makes it herself! If you're looking for a casual dining experience that won't break the bank and you want to feel like family, go to Jimmy's!

Walked into this place about an hour or so before close. Maybe les. No one looked at us crazy.(didn’t notice they were closing soon till later) Our waitress was SUPER nice. She knew the menu and helped us navigate so we can get exactly what wanted and how we wanted it. The food came out super fast. THE BEST STEAK I’VE HAD IN COMO!!!!! I am from NY and know good food. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY. I mean perfectly. Best mom and pop shop in town hands down. We will definitely be regulars here. New go to spot for sure. Thank you guys so much!!!

Jimmy's is a family favorite. We've been eating here for nearly 20 years. Prices have remained reasonable and the food is always tasty. The staff are friendly, with fast service. Drinks are refilled before you need it, and portions are generous.

Love this place! Feels like you're eating at a family members restaurant! Comfortable space feels inviting for all. Owners stop by and say hi and talk sports...great place to have delicious food and comfort.
